"President Clinton's actions to have Kendrick Meek withdraw from the campaign sends a chilling signal to all voters, but especially African Americans. One can only imagine the response if Republican leadership tried to force out of the race – in the 11th hour – a qualified black candidate like Kendrick Meek."
So, if I'm to get this straight, when Republican party members and/or supporters post pictures showing Obama as a shoe-shine boy buffing Sarah Palin's shoes, show him as a monkey or a witch doctor with a bone through his nose, or when they call him a "lyin' African" and all the other foul shit they say about him, that is not racist. But when the former President of the United States asks a black candidate who is running a distant third in a three-way senate race to drop out in the hopes that the more moderate independent candidate would garner his votes in favor of the Teapublican candidate, that is not realpolitik but actually racist.
Well, I guess duplicity knows no race.
Love the pic of Poohbutt on the cover of the new book :)
